The Primary School years are when children move from the world of play-based discovery into the world of structured knowledge — and GDPS is deliberate about making that transition feel like an expansion, not a restriction. This is the stage where academic habits form, and we are careful about the habits we choose to build.
Academic Focus
Primary students at GDPS engage with the full CBSE curriculum across English, Hindi, Tamil, Mathematics, Environmental Science, and Computer Science. But the delivery is consistently active: discussions, projects, demonstrations, and creative outputs sit alongside textbook work. Students are encouraged to ask questions, defend their reasoning, and present their ideas to their peers from the earliest grades.
