GDPS student projects span the full range of the Future Skills programme. A Grade VIII student might design, code, and demo a robot that solves a real campus problem. A Grade X student might produce a short film scored with original music from Tune and Tone. A Grade XII student might present a CNC-manufactured component alongside the engineering drawings and design rationale that produced it. Projects are defined by their authenticity: they address real problems, use real tools, and produce outputs that have value beyond the classroom.
Each year, GDPS hosts a Student Projects Showcase — an event at which students present their work to parents, faculty, peer students, and, where possible, industry guests and educational partners. The Showcase is not a display of finished products alone. It is a presentation of process — the thinking, the failures, the pivots, and the lessons that led to the final output.
For prospective families, the Showcase is the most honest answer to the question: what will my child actually be able to do here? We invite you to see for yourself.
